Final Draft was the Rhode Island School of Design graphic design senior show (Class of'15) displayed at the Woods-Gerry Gallery from March 20-31. The entire class collectively collaborated together for this exhibition that lasted from March 20-31st. The overall concept behind the exhibition is surrounded around the idea of process. As designers, we are oftentimes only used to presenting finished polished designs. We decided to bring the process behind finished pieces accessible to viewers. The exhibition along with the final pieces (personally captioned with pencil) contains residues of drafts, material studies, and leftover materials.
The exhibition sold takeaway goodie bags for 5 dollars. The goodie bags contain a poster catalog, a zine catalog, and a range of various objects commissioned by 15 different graduating seniors. The objects range from letter-pressed cards to acrylic bracelets to holographic stickers, and were randomly distributed among the catalogues.
